The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group, EHEDG

The project aims to establish contacts with companies and knowledge institutions, and influence the guidelines for the design of equipment. Through participation in or management of international working groups that prepare guidelines, we have an influence on the “standards” which will apply to processing equipment in the future.

By contributing to and participating at international seminars on food safety, the project will help to obtain knowledge and also ensure that the focus is on the hygienic design of processing plants.
